From Providence, South County, and points West of Newport:
• Take Route 1 to Route 138 East exit (Jamestown and Newport
bridges)
• Take the Route 238 South exit (Scenic Newport)
• Turn right on to Route 138A/Route 238/Jt Connell Highway.
• Route 138A/Route 238/Jt Connell Highway becomes Route 138A/Farewell
Street/Route 238
• Stay straight to go onto Farewell Street
• Bear right onto Thames Street
• Turn left onto Touro Street
• Turn left onto Courthouse Street
• Turn left onto Park Place.
From Mount Hope Bridge:
• Take Route 138 (travel straight for several miles).
• Pass Wendy's (on left), pass Christmas Tree Shop/Shaws (on
left) to end.
• Bank of Newport will be directly ahead
• Take left, and go through two (2) lights
• After 2nd light, Newport Hospital will be on your left
• Continue straight on Broadway.
• Courthouse will be directly ahead.
From Route 24:
• Follow Route 24 to end
• Follow Route 114.
• Pass Stop & Shop (on right), Navy Housing (on right)
and pass Bank of Newport (also on right).
• Go through two (2) lights. After 2nd light, Newport Hospital
will be on your left. Continue straight on Broadway.
• Courthouse will be directly ahead
